Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bars
A simple, no-bake protein bar made with wholesome ingredients like crunchy peanut butter, chia seeds, and protein powder. These bars are dairy-free, refined sugar-free, gluten-free, and packed with high protein!
Recipe Type: Snacks | Serves: Makes 16 squares
Ingredients
Hemp Hearts: 1/4 cup
Flax Seeds: 1/4 cup
Chia Seeds: 1/4 cup
Dark Chocolate Chips: 1/4 cup
Protein Powder: 1/3 cup (I used Good Protein's Chocolate All-In-One Superfood Shake)
Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter: 3/4 cup
Pure Non Pasteurized Honey: 1/4 cup
Puffed Rice Cereal: 2 cups
Pure Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp
Instructions
Mix it all together in a bowl then place into a square baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze until solid (about 30-45 mins).
Take it out, and chop into 16 squares! Enjoy!
If you have any allergies, simply sub out the peanut butter for another nut butter, or a seed alternative like sunflower seed butter!
These can be made kid-friendly too! Just ensure that if they’re under 1, to replace the honey with something else or take it out all together! Sub out crunchy for smooth peanut butter to avoid a chocking hazard! Concerned about using protein powder, find a child-safe one! (We use Else Nutrition with our son!)
For an even healthier and protein-filled alternative, sub the puffed rice with puffed quinoa!
