Instructions

  1. Chop your cauliflower into medium-large bite-sized florets and place in a bowl.

  2. Coat your cauliflower with nutmeg, nutritional yeast, half of the thyme, smoked paprika, and onion powder, as well as the liquid smoke. Toss until evenly coated.

  3. In a separate bowl, prepare your batter. Add flour, 1 tbsp of hot sauce, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne pepper, the other half of the thyme, smoked paprika and onion powder, and salt and pepper. Add in your oat milk and mix until smooth.

  4. Pour batter into cauliflower and mix until evenly coated.

  5. Prepare your rice paper station. Gather a bowl with warm water, a tea towel and plate to assemble the cauliflower. Take each piece of rice paper, hydrate in the water until soft, and dry on the tea towel. Place 1 cauliflower floret into the rice paper and wrap it up.

  6. Heat oil in a skillet. Once at temperature, place the cauliflower wings in the skillet and fry until golden brown, or the rice paper looks crispy.

  7. In the meantime, prepare your wing sauce. Mix mayo, the other half of the hot sauce and BBQ sauce in a bowl and whisk until smooth.

  8. Once cauliflower wings are done, place into a bowl and toss with the wing sauce! Enjoy!

Serve with a side salad and some potatoes for a delicious meal!
