Vampyre’s Kiss

Where orange, cranberry, plums, and prosecco collide to create a bewitching concoction. With a sugary “blood” drip rim and the essence of a shirley temple and mimosa combined, it's the ideal choice to cast a spell over your Halloween festivities.

Recipe Type: Drinks | Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • Ice: 1/2 cup

  • Orange Juice: 1 oz

  • Cranberry Juice: 1 oz

  • Prosecco: 2 oz (for mocktail, sub for sparkling water or non-alcoholic version)

  • Minced Plums: 1 tbsp

“Blood” Drip Rim (optional)

  • Icing Sugar: 2 tbsp

  • Red Food Colouring: a couple drops

  • Water: 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. If using, create your drink rim by combining icing sugar, food colouring, and water into a bowl. Stir until combined and thickened. If it’s too watery, add more icing sugar, if it’s too thick, add slightly more water little by little.

  2. Roll the rim of your champagne flute in the icing sugar mix, and then use a small spoon to create “drips” along the rim. Place in fridge.

  3. In a shaker, combine ice, orange, juice, cranberry juice and prosecco if using. Shake until combined.

  4. Pour into champagne flute, and enjoy!
